Responsibilities
This role leads and structures the end-to-end proposal management process for complex ICT and connectivity opportunities. The Proposal Expert defines and enforces standardized formats, orchestrates internal collaboration, and ensures submission quality while scaling a reusable proposal framework that supports rapid and consistent response to tenders and direct bids.
- Develop a standardized, reusable proposal toolkit including technical write-ups, compliance sections, project references, and templates.
- Lead proposal planning sessions and define roles/responsibilities across solutioning, pricing, legal, and delivery teams.
- Coordinate technical and commercial inputs and ensure they align with RFx timelines and compliance checklists.
- Oversee formatting, proofreading, and submission of all documents in enterprise-ready formats.
- Maintain a central proposal content library (e.g., solution architectures, case studies, methodology, T&Cs).
- Track win/loss outcomes and conduct lessons-learned reviews to evolve proposal strategy.
- Train internal team members on best practices to allow them to use the proposal structure even in your absence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or Communications.
- 8+ years of experience in technical proposal writing and coordination within the ICT or telecom sectors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contributors, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word (including styles), PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and optionally RFX platforms.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organizational habits and document management discipline.
