Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Proposal Ownership
• Own end-to-end ICT lead qualification in coordination with KAMs, applying defined technical and commercial criteria
• Ensure all incoming leads are assessed for feasibility, budget, and scope before Pre-Sales resources are engaged
• Manage proposal quality, accuracy, and on-time submission across all ICT technology domains
Solution Architecture Management
• Oversee the design of ICT solution architectures across Data Center & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Storage & Computing, and SaaS
• Review and sign off on all technical proposals before client submission
• Ensure solution designs are aligned with Horizon’s product catalogue and margin thresholds
Team Leadership & Capacity
• Manage and develop a team of ICT Architects/Experts across technology domains
• Allocate resources across concurrent proposals based on complexity and deadlines
• Define and track SLAs for proposal turnaround time
Cross-functional Coordination
• Support KAMs in client-facing technical discussions and pre-qualification meetings
• Coordinate with Partnerships Manager for vendor pricing and RFQ responses
• Interface with Product Development for pricing exceptions and catalogue alignment
• Relay structured lost deal feedback to Product Management
Qualifications
Experience
• 10+ years in ICT Pre-Sales or technical solution selling, with at least 5 years in a team lead or managerial role
• Demonstrated experience managing complex ICT proposals (Data Center, Cybersecurity, Cloud, SaaS & Software) in a B2B context
• Background in telecommunications or managed services strongly preferred
Certifications
• Relevant vendor certifications (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft Azure, AWS) – Preferred
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent – Optional
Technical Skills
• Deep technical knowledge across at least 2 ICT domains: DC & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Storage, SaaS
• Ability to read and challenge solution architectures and BOM-level pricing
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP-based pipeline tracking (Salesforce, SAP or equivalent)
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite and proposal tools
Soft Skills
• Strong stakeholder management: ability to interface with Sales team, Finance, Procurement and Senior management
• Structured, detail-oriented approach to proposal management
• Arabic and English, fluent
