Responsibilities
Lead Qualification – Cybersecurity
• Assess incoming ICT leads involving cybersecurity requirements for technical feasibility and scope clarity
• Define qualification criteria for cybersecurity opportunities: threat landscape, compliance requirements, infrastructure complexity, and client maturity
• Coordinate with KAMs to ensure sufficient technical context is gathered before Pre-Sales engagement
Solution Architecture & Proposal Design
• Design comprehensive cybersecurity solution architectures tailored to client needs, covering network security, endpoint protection, SOC/SIEM, identity and access management, and compliance
• Draft and deliver complete technical and commercial proposals for Cybersecurity opportunities, ensuring on-time submission.
• Work with leading vendors including Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and Check Point to propose best-fit solutions within client budget and infrastructure constraints
• Build detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) and pricing models for cybersecurity proposals, aligned with Horizon’s catalogue and margin thresholds
• Ensure all solution designs are documented to support client presentations and internal technical review
Vendor & Pricing Coordination
• Trigger RFQ requests to the Partnerships Manager for cybersecurity vendor pricing and deal registration
• Validate vendor quotes and ensure accuracy before integration into client proposals
• Provide technical input to the Partnerships Manager for evaluating new cybersecurity vendors and assessing their solution capabilities
Client Engagement & Pre-Sales
• Own proposals’ quality and completeness for all Cybersecurity submissions
• Lead client-facing technical presentations and security workshops, addressing threat scenarios, solution architecture, and implementation approach
• Support KAMs in articulating the business value of cybersecurity investments to non-technical decision-makers
• Conduct security assessments or gap analyses as part of the pre-sales process where required

Qualifications
Experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity Pre-Sales, solution architecture, or security consulting in a B2B context
• Demonstrated experience designing and presenting multi-vendor cybersecurity solutions to enterprise clients
• Background in telecommunications, managed security services, or systems integration preferred
Certifications
• Offensive security certifications (preferred): Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or equivalent, showcasing capabilities in penetration testing, threat simulation, and adversary techniques
• Vendor security certifications (preferred): Fortinet NSE 4/5/7, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE/PCNSA, CCNP Security
• Security operations and endpoint certifications (added value)
• Cloud security certifications (highly recommended): AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
Technical Skills
• Strong expertise in designing and positioning end-to-end cybersecurity solutions across key domains, including Zero Trust Architecture, Identity & Access Management (IAM), SIEM/SOC, EDR/XDR, Cloud Security, and Data Protection
• Proven ability to translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable, secure architectures across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with leading cybersecurity vendors and platforms, including Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft Security (Defender, Sentinel, Entra)
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards, including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls, with practical alignment to government and regulated sectors (e.g., banking, oil & gas)
• Strong capability in developing high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), solution proposals, and technical presentations, supporting RFP/RFQ responses and bid submissions
• Experience in building Bill of Materials (BOM), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and ROI models, effectively articulating value propositions and competitive positioning
• Knowledge of advanced cybersecurity domains, including Digital Risk Protection (DRP), Brand Protection, Threat Intelligence, Attack Surface Management (ASM)

• Able to communicate complex security risks and solutions clearly to both technical and executive audiences
• Detail-oriented and rigorous: security proposals require precision in scope and pricing
• Proactive and threat-aware: stays current on the evolving cybersecurity landscape
